Joseph is the Co-Founder and Head of Social Impact for The initiative provides a free, cloud-based platform that trains and certifies students in low resource communities for transformative, globally competitive careers. is committed to making technology education universally accessible so that everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status, can be creators of technology and leaders in the digital age. In addition to, Joseph is also an MIT trained entrepreneurship instructor and has been an authority on the topic of "Future of Education.”  He is active in the MIT, World Economic Forum, Singularity University communities. Through his many talks and guest lectures, Joseph has inspired thousands of students at top universities (Cambridge, Tsinghua, HKUST, HKU, HEC, TUM, etc.) and high schools (HKIS, TAS, BCIS, etc.) across Europe and Asia. 

In the summers, Joseph and his partners run the FutureHack Innovators Bootcamp, a transformational Tech/Entrepreneurship program for teenagers held at MIT and Harvard.

Prior to his efforts in redefining education, Joseph had a 20+ years career on Wall Street at UBS, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, that also included co-founding a $400mil Hedge Fund and an institutional brokerage which was sold to India's second largest financial services firm. Joseph immigrated to the U.S. from China with nothing and lived the American Dream. He has been sharing his experience and inspiring many around the world to become self-motivated learners and entrepreneurial leaders in the digital age ever since.
